April 8: TRAIL WORK parties are ongoing even though the season is over. One day from all of our members would go a really long way in helping build some bridges, widen and clear the trails. If you would like to find out more on how you can help- plesae email us at: trailadmin@snomoles.org

April 1: All Snomoles' trails are closed for the season. It has been a very good year and we are already looking forward to next season.

March 3 : CLOSE CALL ON TRAILS Click here

January 29 : TRAIL CLOSED! Please be aware that the trail from the rail bed to Foggs behind Walsh Real Estate is CLOSED and posted No Trespassing. To get over to Foggs you have to use the Detroit Hood trail off of Pool Pond and the Pearly Pond Connector.

***1/22/2008 - Trail Administrator Report - Hello, I hope everyone is enjoying our trails. We are trying to get the groomers out as much as we can. Trails seem to be in decent shape, the power lines are a little rough! The lake's seem to be freezing up nicely. Went out on Saturday for a ride, we have a nice base of snow, all we need is a good storm to dump about a foot of snow and that would help the power lines out greatly. If you find any problems or missing sign's on the trails, please email or call me with any concerns: trailadmin@snomoles.org (603)899-5463
We have a Pool Pond Party coming up in Feb.- hope to see you all there. Good Riding and beware of Groomers on the trails. Please respect private property, land owner's can shut our trails down!!!

***1/1/2008 Happy New Year All! WATER!!! There is still open water on the lakes and trails. The power lines especially and they will leave you guessing; too deep or not? Use caution or bring a lot of friends and a tow rope!

***12/29 Nick Freda, Trail Admin - Ice Update - “I talked to Ice Fisherman yesterday there's about 8 to 10 inches of ice on the lakes. I would recommend if you’re crossing the ice use caution and stay clear of the channels of lakes and rivers. This warmer than normal weather we’re having will cause ice to thin in different spots.”

***12/28 - Trails are slushy today, we need more snow and colder temps.

***We purchased a used BR110 Groomer from the Monroe Bumper Humpers, so if you see a bright yellow Groomer out on the trails - that's us.

***Already landowners have complained about riding off the marked trails.  The police have been in touch with the club as well regarding sleds riding and speeding along the sides of Rt. 202 and 119.  This will ruin it for everyone.  Please, don’t do it.  It’s illegal and we all stand to lose from it.   So please- stay on the trails!

***The new trail to Kidder Mountain and then on to Corridor 13 is now open!  To get there take the power lines to Timber Top Rd.  The trail is about 50 yards before Timber Top on the left. It is marked.

***The Trails opened on Dec. 15th and we began grooming!  We will be grooming on an on-going basis for the remainder of the season.

***We’d like to say "thanks" to all the participants of the trail work parties; the turnout has been great and much was accomplished.  There is still work to be done, so if while out riding you see something that needs attention, please be sure to contact us.
